I have played millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet

Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial $20 wager

Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager

Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you departed at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
