I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to beat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 20 mins using this method! And a number of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet

Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80

Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager

Wager $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar bet

If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
