I have enjoyed millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You need to comprehend that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20

Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager

Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
