I have enjoyed countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this method or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a few years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a few weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you see betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20

Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet

Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager

If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
