I have enjoyed millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years back with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a few days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you notice betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager

Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet

Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager

Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
