I have wagered on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of funds at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet

Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 wager

Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
