I have wagered on millions of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of cash at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years back with $750 after 45 mins using this method! And a few months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
